What is the file “Resident Macro Custom”?
I developed a file similar to this one to ease my workload. It provides tools and functions needed when handling daily mail.
I shared the file with friends, they liked it and adapted it for their specific needs. Hopefully it will help you.
This macro set is designed for using F-keys, F1-F15. If you do not have an extended keyboard (with Fkeys), choose the Function Key palette from the ProTERM > Tools menu, and you will have the functionality of all the Fkeys.
The file that does the work is a ProTERM/Mac Resident User Macro named:
Resident User Custom
This file resides in the ProTERM > Macro folder

This macro shows several examples of how to create F-Key macros that work for you. You can leave the filename as is, or rename the file to a suitable name such as “Resident User Your Name” or “Resident User Mail” etc. and change the text and/or the commands in the file to suit your needs. To disable this Resident Macro Custom F-Key macro set, remove it from the ProTERM > Macro folder and follow the instructions in step 4 above.

The Calendar file is opened with an F-Key. Follow the above directions, and Press F-4 to see the file.
** ProTERM URL List **
The URLs file is opened with an F-Key. Follow the above directions, and then Press F-14 to see the file.
The URLs file is an example list, which also contains instructions how to use Command-click URLs from within ProTERM to launch your favorite web browser or FTP application. The URLs file can also contain qwik-ref storage for email, telnet lists, and other important notes you may need for your communications needs from time to time.
